In our present economic troubled times, new approaches and new initiatives are needed to. awaken our consciousness about the emotional meaning of money. Money is today s top stressor, but this stress comes from our deepest fears and fantasies about money, not from money itself. What remains unconscious can control our behavior. Unless we face our fears, fantasies and hidden beliefs about money and make them conscious, we will sabotage our relationships as well as our sense of self. Often justtalking about money brings about much anxiety and secrecy. It is the thing most often lied about in marriages and relationships.Are we told not to talk about money in a household even though everyone can see the material wealth.Or poverty?Are we judged by how we live and where we live? Do we mortgage our self esteem to feel connected?What do we get from money?Our Net worth or Self-worth? How do we put a value on self worth? Do you wonder, if I am poor will I be seen as lesser than?
